Sharjah’s premier real estate exhibition, ACRES 2025, is set to break participation records, solidifying its status as a leading platform for property development and investment in the region.

With over 110 exhibitors, including local heavyweights and international first-timers, this year’s event promises an unparalleled showcase of innovative real estate offerings.

Organised by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) and the Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department (SRERD), the four-day event will run from January 22 to 25 at Expo Centre Sharjah. Spanning an expansive 10,000 square metres, it marks the largest edition in the event’s history.

ACRES 2025

ACRES 2025 will feature cutting-edge residential, commercial, and industrial properties, alongside hospitality developments and land parcels. Many projects, including flagship ventures, will debut at the exhibition, highlighting Sharjah's increasing prominence as a regional real estate hub.

During the event's announcement, Mohammad Ahmed Amin Al Awadi, Director-General of SCCI, underscored ACRES’ contribution to Sharjah’s real estate growth. "This year’s exhibition not only marks our largest edition but also reaffirms Sharjah's position as a premier destination for real estate investment. The emirate witnessed a 35.6% surge in transaction volumes in the first half of 2024, reaching Dh18.2 billion,” he said.

Workshops and panel discussions at ACRES 2025 will offer valuable insights into market trends.

Exclusive deals and incentives

Developers are preparing to attract potential buyers and investors with exclusive discounts and tailored offers on newly launched projects. These incentives are further supported by the Sharjah Executive Council's decision to reduce sales and purchase transaction fees during the event, providing an added boost to the real estate market.

Saeed Ghanem Al Suwaidi, Chairman of the Organising Committee of ACRES, highlighted the significance of this move: "The Council’s fee reduction will significantly encourage property transactions during the exhibition, benefiting all stakeholders.”

Workshops, panels, and legal insights

The ACRES 2025 programme extends beyond property showcases, offering an academic component that appeals to industry professionals, investors, and buyers alike. Visitors can attend expert-led panel discussions, training workshops, and seminars addressing legal frameworks, real estate regulations, and sustainable development practices. These sessions will be conducted in both Arabic and English to cater to a diverse audience.

The return of the Egyptian Real Estate Pavilion adds an international dimension to the event. Leading Egyptian developers will present prime residential, commercial, and coastal properties from sought-after locations, including the New Administrative Capital, Sheikh Zayed, and North Coast. Exclusive deals and discounts will aim to capture the interest of both expatriates and UAE-based investors.

Key milestones in real estate

Sharjah’s real estate sector has witnessed remarkable progress, with 2024 marking a pivotal year. The value of real estate transactions surged by 202.4% during last year’s ACRES edition, exceeding Dh1.4 billion. This success prompted organisers to expand the exhibition space for 2025, accommodating the increasing demand from exhibitors.

Abdulaziz Rashid Al Saleh, Director of SRERD, remarked, "The consistent growth in Sharjah's real estate market reflects its appeal to investors from over 114 nationalities. ACRES 2025 plays a vital role in sustaining this momentum, offering participants a platform to explore lucrative opportunities.”

Sponsorship and partnerships

ACRES 2025 enjoys robust support from prominent sponsors, including platinum sponsor Alef Group, gold sponsor IFA Hotels and Resorts, and silver sponsor Al Thuriah Group. These sponsors will unveil their latest projects and innovative solutions during the exhibition, further enhancing its appeal.

In addition, academic sponsors like ThinkProp Institute and Innovation Experts Real Estate Institute will focus on bridging industry knowledge gaps. Their involvement underscores the event’s commitment to fostering expertise and promoting sustainable practices in real estate.

Sharjah: A premier investment destination

The participation of major governmental entities, such as the Sharjah Economic Development Department (SEDD) and the Sharjah Directorate of Town Planning and Survey (SDTPS), reaffirms the emirate’s dedication to attracting global investment. Both organisations emphasise Sharjah's potential as a thriving real estate destination.

Issa Ataya, CEO of Alef Group, highlighted the strategic importance of the exhibition: "Our platinum sponsorship reflects our belief in Sharjah’s potential. Through our participation, we aim to showcase transformative projects like Hayyan, Al Mamsha, and Olfah.”

With its diverse range of properties, innovative solutions, and academic focus, ACRES 2025 promises to redefine the regional real estate landscape. Participants can explore an exciting mix of offerings, network with industry professionals, and gain valuable insights into the latest trends shaping the sector.
